TED conferences launched a YouTube education channel called TED-Ed with the goal of bringing high-quality education to the masses. What, if any, has the impact of this been on education and literacy?
Influence on education and digital literacy:

TED began in 1984 as a conference to discuss Technology, Education and Design and has grown exponentially with the Internet. TED talks can be used as a teaching tool to promote student motivation and introduce innovative instructional practices (Rubenstein, 2012)
