Serial Numbers
When a piece is first booked into SAP Fiori, two tickets print:
- The stock ticket may be replaced due to price increases

- This has the Vendor Ref and Product Data

It relates specifically to the Serial Number for that item.
The reference ticket will remain with the product for its time in the business as it will not change.
This has a Reference Number which is an internal reference created when the piece is first booked into SAP.

When a piece is first booked into SAP Fiori, two tickets print:

You should enter the internal Reference Number (e.g. here it is 6) instead of the serial... as you can see, the leading zero's do not need to be entered.
When selling the article through the till, you will be prompted to enter the serial/certificate number.

If the Reference number is registered to your showroom, the Serial number will be displayed, if Correct then proceed with the sale...
This is the best and easiest way to enter a serial number and will stop suspended sales!

This will stop mistypes of the serial or using the model number / vendor reference - it will stop your sale from suspending.
Make life easier and use the Reference Number from the ticket when selling through the till.

- It has 4 numbers as the 'family' code before the serial e.g. 3751157016CX
- The usual Cartier Serial Number consists of 10 numbers total and 2 letters.
- It can be found on the Warranty Card and the Cartier ticket.

- This is the best place to use as it is in the format needed on SAP Fiori and the Till.
- The family code needs to be entered before the serial.
- When booking in stock and processing through the till, ensure the Warranty Card matches the watch.
- You will find it split. The Serial Number (157016CX) is above the family code (3751).
- It is also engraved on the back of the watch.

- When booking in or putting through the till, the family code (OP7393) needs to be entered before the serial (BB2036694).
- Due to its length, it is best to get it from the Warranty Card or Booklet.
- e.g. OP7393BB2036694
- The usual Panerai Serial Number consists of 15-16 characters.

- When booking in or putting through the till, no spaces or hyphens are required.
- You can find the serial number on the back of the watch or Tissot swing tag - the swing tag is the best and most clear but should be checked against the watch.
- e.g. VXZHE3G0Y
- The usual Tissot Serial Number consists of 9 or 12 characters.

- It is engraved on the back e.g. RQH9682
- The usual TH Serial Number consists of 2 or 3 letters and 4 numbers
- The number is found on it's own.
- It is engraved on the back e.g. SRR8062
- The Connected TH Serial number consists of 3 Letters and 4 numbers
