You have demonstrated that you have a deep knowledge of the characteristics of biotope and biocenosis. You've done very well relating these characteristics to the ways in which animals and plants adapt to their ecosystems. Very good job!

You demonstrate a high level of knowledge of the different types of ecosystems of terrestrial biomes and aquatic ecosystems. You can do something as complex as describing the differences and similarities between the cold zone taiga and temperate zone steppe. I suggest you expand your knowledge; in the unit, there is a breakout that will allow you to travel around the world learning more about all these ecosystems. Ready for take-off?

Although you have shown that you know how to name the factors of ecosystem imbalance (unsustainable development, loss of soil, and biodiversity), I believe that you are also well able to learn about their characteristics and causes, as well as possible strategies to restore the imbalances they cause in ecosystems. This will make you more aware and responsible in the care of the environment. The Earth will thank you for it!

You have a growing understanding of ecosystem factors. In addition, you can identify that there are chemical and physical factors in biotopes, as well as cite the relationships and trophic levels of the biocenosis. Now you can go a little further and be able to understand and explain a little more about each of these factors. In the unit on ecosystems, in the section "What are ecosystems?", you'll find information on this topic. I'm sure you'll enjoy learning about the different types of interspecific relationships of living things - they seem to have a conscience!
