  • THE RESEARCH PLAN: CONTENTS
Your RP must include:
  • A Title

The State of art (or Literature review) and theoretical framework(s). A description of the most relevant theoretical background(s), key issues, conceptual frameworks, etc. The most recent publications available in the literature about the phenomenon under study The Research objectives. It is important to explicitly state the significance of the thesis and how it will be an original contribution to the field. The Research questions, hypotheses, or assumptions that support the research objectives. Following a critical examination of the research objectives in relation to the theoretical framework(s) and the state of the art. 3.2. The Research design and methods. Methodology. This section will include a detailed presentation of the anticipated research activities, organized in stages and content blocks. It is desirable to establish specific milestones that can be later used to check the progress of the project. Timeline. The dates in which the work packages are expected to be completed 4.
