Moving
In

-Arrival
-first impression (Danny mad about house nr. 13 -> bad luck)
->conflict w/ Dad ("you don't believe in stupid supersitions.")
-Dannys arguments why bad (looks)
-Fathers arguments why good (rent)

Quote -> Danny: "No wonder - look at it.
It's a dump: a dark, creepy dump."

= Aberglaube

Step 2:
starting new life

-"New" life because Mum and younger Son passed away
and because house needs to be set up completely again
-after furnishing they try to play the deaths off
-> (watching movies, Danny is learning to cook,
Father is using alcohol to forget etc.)
but they can't and often cry
-Danny is noticing paranormal activities
-meeting strange neighbour
(can receive spiritual signs)
-> is knowing about Dannys past
-> confirming paranormal activity in their house

-They talked about the haunted house and the spiritual ability
which is called "The Sight"
-Dannys Dad sad that neighbour is "a silly old biddy"
-But Danny thought she was nice
