Most popular dishes are: cepelinai and šaltibarščiai. Most popular traditional cake is šakotis.
Traditional foods
- 8 large peeled and grated potato
- 2 large boiled and riced potatos
- salt and 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- for the meat filling:
- 1 pound ground pork, 1 beaten egg, choped onion
- salt, pepper
- For the gravy: bacon, onion, sour cream
Potato - meat dumplings ( cepelinai or didžkukuliai)
- Onion greens
- Boiled eggs
- Dill
- Salt
- Cucumbers
- Beets
- Kefir
