FUTURE DREAMS: TECHNOLOGY Will we be using technology in the Dream School of the Future? Will it be similar to the one there is nowadays?

I think that in the future school we will use technology. I think that all subjects would use computers or interactive screens to do the respective in each one and that in case of absence of the teacher to the class a hologram would teach what the teacher had programmed to give that day. In the clases will be a digital task list to the teachers to put there what to do and when he/she finish the list coppy will be send to d¡the students and the students will can mark in it what they do to see beter what they have left to do. But I think that in the future we will continue using pencils and pens because is inportant to learn in case you ever need to, for exsmple in case of outage. Aketza González

Dream school

Talking about my ideal school I would change a lot of things that actually we have in our schools. Firstly, I would replace the old blackbords and bords and I would put some inteligent boards which could interact with the tablets like in the films. That tablets would also have extraible keyboard to make easier doing all the tasks. Secondly, it would be orientated to benefit from the sunlight hours and it would have solar panels to make our own electricity and to heat the classes. Finally, the stares would be electric ones and there would be a inteligent gym in the school which would meassure your information while you are working out. Iker Serradilla

In the future I think we will be using the technology for most of our at school activities because we can access more information just by using our mobile phones or laptops. I imagine every student will have a device with whom they can work on and learn about certain subjects.Some subjects could be done online but I do not think the usual classes will be replaced by it in full. In my opinion in a nearby future we will be using only digital material on normal class leaving the paper and phisical books. With this change all the material would be in the same place making easier found the theory. In my school there will be such a thing that detects when they dont look the place that teacher said if they dont look there in 1 min it will tell teacher that he/she isnt listening there will be holograms of books and you will use them and there will be board which writes the things you want. Dream school

In Dream School of the Future there will be use of technology for sure. It will be more advanced than today’s technology. For instance, every student will have laptop or tablet, there will be smart boards in every classroom, there will be holographic displays. There will be no books or notebooks aswell, which will be replaced with e-books and internet. Classes will be held differently – half of classes will be held live and half will be held online. I think that will give students more comfortability. It will be a whole different type of education in comparison to today’s education and I think students will be more focused on education in future than nowadays because they will have better understanding of things. I think that in the future there will most likely exist a lot of technologies that we can´t even imagine today. We will for sure have been introduced to new tech some of which will certainly be used in the school system. Firstly, I think that there will be new ways to show the students things, such as, for example, a holographic display that could help students analyse 3d spaces which is somewhat hard to do. This could also be very helpful in projects since seeing people and things in 3d brings us closer to the real experience. Secondly, we could maybe have smart desks, that would allow us to once and for all stop using paper, and make the world a little more eco-friendly. However, human on human interaction will forever be more efficient to teach the next generations since technologies always have a factor of distraction. In conclusion, we will be using new technologies in school, but I think it´s impossible to tell how similar they would be to what we have today, they could be either very similar or very different. Who knows? Maybe we will even see a mixture of both! Luis Costa

What do you think the schools of the future will be like? The dream school for the future is a school where we won't need paper as it will be possible to do everything on a tablet or have the projectors turned on, whether by alexa echo dot or by google. Many of the schools already use tablets in the classrooms, but most of the schools are still using paper, I think that, in the future, everything will be done on tablets. My dream school for the future is a school where everything is automated and with technology for almost everything, such as scheduling lunches while in the classroom, recording the audio of classes if you want to listen later or don't understand something about the subject. I do think that we´ll be using technology a lot ... It is not hare-brained to think that , because , for example , schools are starting using online books , instead of the traditional ones, doing exams by the computer ...etc . Thanks to the lookdown , me , as student , I started having online class groups , something that i woudn´t have never ever thought . I think somehow it has to be similar , if not , it may be difficult . The traditional method is so useful and successful. Futurists claim that by 2050 , children won´t be taught how to read and write , but personally I don´t think that. Children will access the centers by tactile or visual fingerprint. By Diego Calvo -

My Dream School would be completely based on technology. The classrooms would have an intelligent thermometer placed at the door, that automatically measures the body temperature of every student, to prevent any kind of outbreak. If a student were to be feeling sick, he would go home and conect with the virtual class, creating a hologram of him on the physical class. The students would have a laptop instead of a notebook, taking notes and searching for doubts in the Internet. The teacher would use the projector to use the textbook if needed, and there would be an intelligent board, similar to a blackboard, but conected to the cloud, uploading what the teacher writes on it to the virtual class, so if the students can review the contents. Future Schools- Technology

I believe we would use technology in the not too distant future, although I believe it will be more technologically advanced. There will be more technology stuff than you could ever believe. To be honest I don't think it will be anything like that. An incredible Dream School could an school with holograms, or any other advances. In that school, students and teachers would have a good device for studying.There will be NO notebooks to be able to make class notes but it will be like today's universities. In conclusion is going to be better for the teachers and students because it's easier.-David TruebaT

Yes, in my opinion we will keep using technology in Dream School but i think it will be much more advanced. For example, instead of having to wait for computers and wifi to work we would have faster and better equipment which will allow us to be more productive and take more advantage of the time. -Isaac Díaz

The school of the future, in my opinion, I think there would be no books. I think that books would already be part of the past and that instead of notebooks, pencils and pens, they would all be replaced by computers and tablets.On the other hand, when a teacher is absent, they could teach as a hologram.Another thing I think could be that they would have invented a simulator of being in class that allows you to attend class but in reality you are at home. -Alejandro Ojeda

In my humble opinion, I believe there will be new technologies applicable to education. I have no doubt that the new technologies will be very different from the current ones. As always there will be an advance in all the inventions and devices that currently exist so there will be some similarity with the current inventions. I think in the future all students will have a computer, in the future school the exams will be with a computer and you can search the questions, but you need to select the information carefully beacasuse it can be false and you need to understand what says the information and then write with your own words, in the future people will have internet and the students will have educational pages and they won't have schoolbags, they'll have the books in the computers and when some student feels bad he have videos for continue with the clases in his home. It will be a little similar, studet will have computers and internet and when someone feels bad he can continue clases by videoconference, but in the future student will have more acces to educational pages and they can learn the things better and in the future the students will need to send them homework to the teacher for comprove better if the have done them. -JuanCarlos Pinto

In the last few years technology has evolved a lot, from not being able to do anything, to being able to do everything with one click, which helps a lot, especially in education. Firstly, I think that technology in education is very important, and it will still improve a lot, for example, in the future, there may be a hologram of teachers so we can have classes wherever we want. Secondly, I think technology will also be very important to reduce the amount of paper we use, helping the environment. Lastly, I think that in the future education will be more efficient, because students will have more methods of research and study. To conclude, we will use more technologies in the future, although I don't know if they will be similar or not, for sure more technologies will be used to help not only students but everyone involved in education. -João Pires

In my opinion, I think we will use more technology than now. Also I think we won't bring books or any material except tablets or laptops. Maybe is gonig to be more easy to make notes and the students can develop creatives abilities. On movies of science-fiction, the education has a prototype of holograms teaching the students who use a lot of new gadgets. Honestly, I don't think it will happen. In my opinion, there will be always teachers and never hologramas to teach humans. I'm sure the students of 2050 will have better technologies and news learning methods that will prepare them for their life. -Pablo Maestro

I consider technology to be a very strong aspect of education, and we would definitely be using it in my Dream School of the Future.We would have a much more interactive way to learn and to interact with the technology itself. we could have tablets or even interactive tables! I don't know how far we can imagine. There would be some kind of hologram thing for students to have a better visualization of 3D objects. To complement all of this there would have to be, "behind the scenes" a very good infrastructure, managed by a great team that hopefully would do all the service needed to keep the systems running at full throttle!I can't say for sure that it will be similar to the one that we have nowadays, but with the constant change that we've in technology, I think that everything says that it shall be pretty different.-Gonçalo Prata

Technologies have been very important in education nowadays, and that importance will probably only increase over the years. With the increase of this importance, we will most likely see lots of new technologies that we never even thought of. First of all, I think there will be easier ways to learn, as we will have much more different resources to help us. Just a couple of years ago, schools didn't have half of the technologies we have, so I can't even imagine the things that there will be in the future. Secondly, most of the things we use nowadays, such as notebooks and pens, will probably be changed for computers and tablets. Also, projectors could be switched into holograms, making it easier to explain things in 3d. Lastly, I don't think that teachers will ever stop being important in education because after all, school would never be the same without teachers. My Dream School would be pretty much based on technology. First of all, there would be tablets instead of books on everyone’s table. I know for sure that we will be using technology in the Dream School of the Future. If we are already using computers and digital blackboards in the present, who tells you that this is going to stop? In fact, I think that Education is going to get far more advanced technologically, as it evolves everyday. Just to imagine, in 10 years time, the education system won't be as nearly as similiar to the one we have nowadays. We can tell by the recent criticism to this system by mostly young people and students. One of the changes that could come with this revolution is the cessation of use of textbooks and physical exams. For my part I see this as something good for the future but it has to come slowly. People are already struggling to use internet so I don't want to imagine how they would feel if they would have to start using far more complicated programs and applications. Also I think that many subjects will be based on IT. It is good that students will have laptops to get the school exercises and homeworks, also when they're sick and can't come to school. I think in the future will be using a lot of technology in the Dream School of the Future. Nowadays we use computers in class and in some schools they use tablets, so yes I think in the future we will use the technology. The technology will change a lot in the future. There will be things that we can't even imagine today like holograms for example. We are not already using convertibles and digital blackboards at our school since this year. I think it is really helpful because you have all your notes at one place and you get there with just one click. But in the future the technology will improve and get much more important at school. I imagine future schools completely surrounded by technology, with little or no textbooks. Nowadays textbooks are used less and less and technology is used more and more in education; computers, mobile phones, digital monitors.... That is why I believe that in the future textbooks will disappear completely. The technology will be different; for example, I think there will be computers designed specifically for education, with all the necessary facilities. Exams will probably also be done in computer. In general, although this future school looks perfect, I think it has some negative points. As I said before, students will stop using textbooks, and with that, they will stop writing on paper.
