Summary

Summer and John meet Bhanu as their taxi driver and ask him to find a surrogate mother for them

John and Summer spot Mimi when she dances and want her to be their surrogate mother

John and summer fly back to America because their child might be disabled

Bahnu tells Mimi about their disappearance and
Mimi has a mental breakdown —> does not know what to do

Mimi tells her family about the pregnancy, but lies about being married to Bahnu and tells them he is the father of her child

After birth it turns out that the baby is healthy

Mimi keeps the baby and they form a close bond

Bahnus wife finds out about Mimi and comes to talk to them. Mimi confesses that Bahnu is not her husband and that the baby is not his.

All in all, the film "Mimi" is a really entertaining and enjoyable film. The consideration of social issues is generally commendable, but partly one-sided and slightly problematic.
