In this module you will acquire the basics of hybrid online training and learn about the requirements, special features, as well as the opportunities and challenges of Hybrid Online Training. We place particular emphasis on body language aspects and on the interaction between facilitator and group of participants before, during and after the hybrid training. You will increase your understanding of the typical pitfalls in the planning and implementation of your hybrid sessions. You will get an overview of the most common web training tools with their possibilities and limitations and gain experience in their use. We will not cover only the traditional ones, but also introduce you to platforms which will provide you with more possibilities than you might know from your own previous experience.

USP of our program: all modules will be conducted in a hybrid setting.


You will learn how to:


  • efficiently plan a hybrid session

  • challenge your own designer biases

  • use existing virtual tools and how to adapt the content/syllabus in a hybrid setting

  • change/adapt your facilitator persona in a hybrid setting in order to create an EXTRAordinary and memorable learning experience

  • Design for learning transfer

In this module you will learn how to design your own hybrid live training from the basic idea to the finished training concept. You will get in-depth understanding on how to consider participant goals, learning objectives and needs in a meaningful way, and also how to incorporate their previous knowledge and experience into your design. From suitable preparation and follow-up tasks to frequent participation activation as well as to the design of practice-relevant exercise scenarios. How to take research in recent brain research into account when planning your hybrid live training sequences by adapting your processes to the performance and learning curves of your participants.

You will learn how to:


  • Transform your in-presence workshops to a hybrid setting

  • Use different tools to deliver microlearning content

  • Maximize the value of microlearning for your hybrid workshops

  • Design hybrid workshops that rely on microlearning aspects

In this module you will be introduced to platforms and tools to be used in a hybrid training.


You will learn how to:

  • use the different platform and tools according to your workshop design, learning objectives, participants

  • use these tools to trigger communication, collaboration and engagement

  • use these tools to foster interaction and engagement

  • onboard your participants successfully to your tools

As a hybrid facilitator, your task is to lead your workshop from the very beginning to a successful conclusion, with clearly defined measures and results. It is important to accompany and control the dynamics in the participant group, taking into account the special challenges of hybrid collaboration. In this hands-on module, you will practice the use of suitable moderation tools and techniques in the role of a hybrid moderator and receive helpful feedback on your appearance as a hybrid facilitator. You will improve the use of your non-verbal and verbal communication to effectively motivate and activate your participants. You will receive input on developing hybrid live workshops with hybrid teams and learn how to handle difficult situations in hybrid settings. Through hybrid live sessions you will be conducting and the feedback received, you will become aware of the strengths of your virtual facilitator style and work together intensively on improving your areas for learning growth.


You will learn how to:

  • apply special techniques of hybrid facilitation

  • distinguish between a technical producer and an instructional producer

  • manage relationships in a hybrid setting (with producers, co-facilitators, guest speakers, participants…)

  • prepare for production mastery by creating an action plan for hybrid training management

  • apply strategies to increase interaction, engagement and participation of the participants

In this module, we explore what elements create an IMPACTFUL and memorable hybrid learning space. Furthermore, there are elements of inclusion that need to be considered to create a great experience for ALL your learners – BEFORE-DURING-AFTER your learning activity. We will work simple tips to ensure the hybrid interventions you design and deliver take into account diversity and encourage inclusion.

You will learn how to:

  • Reflect on your own designer bias(es) and how they might impact your participants

  • Apply techniques of inclusive hybrid design

In the last module you have the unique possibility to present and facilitate a hybrid LIVE session in front of a small group of peers and/or external participants who will provide you with feedback and comments on your design and facilitation techniques employed.
