Gerunds are verbal expressions since they end in ING These name activities and are then placed in sentences, gerunds can be the subjects in sentences, the gerund is a verbal form that allows us to fulfill functions in sentences much further than those of a verb, these can be: subject, object, complement. These are structured in such a way that the infinitive of the verb plus the suffix Ing. An example is walk is to walking
