Tips to use the Twinspace
Before starting our cooperation, we shared useful information on how to use the Twinspace for both pupils and teachers. Posters were printed and given to pupils.
Here is the most voted logo
click on the photo of the poll to see all the logos
In the boxes of each country you can see photos of pupils while doing this activity
Pupils could choose to create the logo of the project by drawing or by using digital tools. Then they uploaded their logo in Pollmaker and had to write a title for their logo and vote for the best logo.

Let's check our digital habits
Click on the Presentation to see it
Pupils checked the files that all the teachers had uploaded in Thinglink to know something more about important issues like intellectual property, copyright, creative commons, data protection.
Pupils found out thei digital habits by filling up the following presentation.

Our Expectations
All the partners used a common padlet to write a post about themselves adding missing information through clues. The partners had to do researches and guess the hidden information
All partners wrote a hashtag about the title of the project and used a Padlet to share their expectations about the project
Our common Netiquette
Click on the photo to see the Infographic
Each partner school chooses the best 3 kind and wise rules and uploads them in the common infografic made by Canva
Pupils used the twinpoll to choose their favourite template for the infographic of the common Netiquette
Step by step towards Creative Writing
Here is the result of the matching
Let's choose memorable characters
Then we used a wheel to match each partner school to their partners' celebrity. Here is the result of the matching
Each partner country chose one of these 4 categories (artist, scientist, politician/hero, writer/poet) and then chose a past celebrity from their country belonging to that category as protagonist of our stories. Some partners used Mentimeter to choose the category and the celebrity, The partner schools from the same country (Spain) used the twinpoll.
Partners work at the fact file of their partner's celebrity
Each partner school makes researches about the partner's celebrity. They look for the information suggested in the guide lines and then they ulpoad their work in a common Canva presentation
the common ebook with the fact files of our heroes
Finally they vote for the first topic in a twinpoll
Then they discuss in a FORUM about the results of the wordcloud,
Topic of our 1st story
The pupils propose the topic of our first story in a wordcloud
The most voted topic is COVID 19!They all get informed about the topic by checking the materials that each partner school shares in a common Genially presentation. Click on the photo to see the materials.
Pupils check a common presentation to learn about the elements of a short story

FROM FICTION TO REAL LIFE: WE CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE
FROM FICTION TO REAL LIFE
Our celebrities made us reflect on the risks that are threatening the life of our planet and in the meanwhile they tried to find so many odd solutions... but we thought that it is better if we move on and start doing something real to heal our mother Earth, We had a chat where we talked about the environmental problems and how our daily actions affect our Earth Then each partner school took a different eco-friendly action!

key ingredients of our project
Survey forfamilies
Effective communication is the key to working together as a team. We shared the project Netiquette with partners and we held a meeting with families to inform them about the project, about Data protection, Copyright. and we got the Privacy consent signed by them-During the meeting families took a survey and they were also given a booklet with a webwise parents' guide to a better Internet
Click on the interactive element to read the original plan
Communication was necessary in order to know the progress of the project, to plan future activities, to give information about the roles for a particular task. The starting point was the sharing of the draft of the Project plan with all the partners by a common google doc. Everyone could make suggestions
Throughout the project the original plan was modified in some parts because we took into consideration the feedback of our pupils, the results of our chats, the mid survey, but also the circumstancies imposed by the pandemic. So, the keywords were MONITORING - FLEXIBILITY- COOPERATION
Dissemination is about making the main results/outputs of a project visible to key actors, especially end users, relevant target audience and decision makers. The dissemination of the project to different target groups is contributing to give a high visibility to the institutions/organizations that carried out the project, to inspire other institutions/organizations and to promote new school cooperations for future projects.
Chats, forums and online meetings with pupils were used to know each other, to share opinions, to discuss, to make decisions
The HOME of the Twinspace was used to share information with pupils
T.B was used to remind dates or to ask for information
emails were used to sum up what we had said during the videoconferences and to give more detailed information
online meetings were used to discuss about the project plan, activities, and distribution of the tasks
messenger group was created and used for faster information
Communication was frequent. We used many channels!
SURVEY FOR FAMILIES
SURVEY FOR TEACHERS
SURVEY FOR PUPILS
And for the project final evaluation we considered continuity of participation, completion of products, and the final surveys for pupils, teachers and families
Click on the Presentation to read the results of the midway survey
- Do I listen to my pupils' opinions ?
- How much are they involved in this type of activity?
- Are my pupils having difficulties
- to do this task?
- Are pupils interacting with their peers?
- Are they collaborating with their team?
- Is each of them contributing to the final product?
- Are they respecting deadline?
We also considered the results of the mid survey
Monitoring had an important role because it allowed us to make adjustments in our teaching methods and strategies but also in the planning of future activities. Moreover it gave us the chance to provide feedback to pupils.A component of monitoring was the systematic observation of pupils at work and play, how they interacted with teachers and with peers,, their involvement in the project activities.
