To delve deeper into this problem, we distributed a survey to over eighty participants and conducted interview with five of those.

We found that while most gardeners are not knowledgable of ways to track their carbon footprints, over half of the respondants expressed interests in installing a system to keep track of their plants and carbon offsets.
