Soprano Ukulele The ukulele is a small, guitar-like stringed instrument made from wood. Use of the ukulele tips:

  • The ukulele has 'machine' pegs, so tuning the ukulele is achieved with very small turns.
  • When not in use, please keep the ukulele in it's carrying bag.
  • Please do not expose the ukulele to extreme temperatures - especially sitting in one's car all day. Borrowers please keep that in mind, as with high or extremely cold temperatures could break the wood.
Ukuleles are held at the front desk and must be returned to the front desk (please do NOT put these in the bookdrop). Checkout is 3 weeks (renewable as long as there are no other holds). Place a ukulele on hold. For ukulele instruction books, click here. For ukulele instruction books on Hoopla, click here. For ukulele instruction books on Libby/Overdrive, click here.
