probably the most deadly feature are Push notifications, which are designed to constantly distract and interrupt our days. Constantly notifying us and trying to pull us back to the app.


- We don’t know whether the message we just received needs answering as soon as possible
- Not knowing what we might have missed on Instagram creates excitement in the brain, and we are compelled to log in and check
