Persephone disappears because her uncle Hades kidnaps her to marry her. So Demeter went in search of Helios to find out what happened to her daughter. When she found out she went to tell Zeus. He sent Hermes to bring Persephone from the underworld. Hermes managed to convince Hades and takes Persephone to her mother. Escalaphus went to tell Hades that he had seen Persephone eat seven pomegranate seeds. Then Hades told him to go with them to Earth without being seen and that when he arrived he would tell everyone that Persephone had eaten the food of death and whoever eats that food is obliged to stay in the underworld forever, and so he did. When the gods found out they met and decided that Persephone would stay on Earth for nine months and go to the underworld for three months. The Earth becomes cold, and there aren't any plants for three months. This is winter. Then, Persephone returns.This is spring. The Earth completes this cycle every year and, according to the ancient Greeks, this is why we have got different seasons.

Orpheus and Eurydice are a happy marriage. One day Aristayus, a friend of Orpheus came to visit them. As soon as he saw Eurydice, he fell in love with her.Later Eurydice and Aristayus went for a walk, in it, Aristayus declared his love to Eurydice and kissed her, but she ran out and didn't know that there was a snake which bit her and caused her to die. When Orpheus discovered his wife's body, he went to the underworld for Hades to return his wife. To get there, he had to face a dog with three heads and make Kayron laugh. Arriving at the palace, he managed to convince Hades and Persephone, so Hades told Orpheus that during the whole tour he had to touch the lyre and that he couldn't look back, in addition, he had to pass the doors and let it come behind him and stay a minute in the sun. But at one point along the way he looked back and his wife disappeared forever.

One day Zeus asks Echo to entertain his wife to leave with a nymph and Echo accepts. She began to sing all over the forest and Hera heard her. When she found Echo she asked her who the song was for and Echo replied that it was for her because Zeus had asked her to. After hearing these words, Hera cursed Eco by making her repeat the last word of whatever she heard. One day, she found Narcissus and fell in love with him. After hearing Echo repeat his words, he mocked her. Aphrodite was watching them and after hearing Narcissus' words and decided to punish him. It made him fall in love with his own reflection. In doing this, he was all day watching his reflection in the river, he neither ate nor drank, his parents brought him food, but he did not want to. In the end, he died. Today, narcissus flowers grow in the forest next to lovely pools of water. Even today Echo answers everybody. Walk into a cave and shout. Hear her repeat your last words. Narcissus and Echo are still with us.
