We celebrated Earth Day with lots of activities.
We watched the presentation of endangered animals in the World. I explained what does endangered means. I also talked about the environmental problems,destruction of climate changing.,water pollution,global warming...
We listened and tried to sing Earth Day song for children
Students understood the message of Earth day. We had lots of fun when we were singing the song together.

Drawing ,coloring and writing activities about Earth Day were enjoyable.We prepared some posters .We coloured coloring pages about Earth. .
Students searched and drew about the most endangered animals in Turkey .They gave some messages about animal protection .You can watch the video inthe next page

We decorated our school bulletion board about the activities we did.And also students created Wordart which is a fun word cloud tool that brings together the words you have chosen and turns them into a cloud.

Three Rs
To celebrate the Earth Day, first we watched a presentation about what 3Rs of recycling and learned about how to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Then to intensify the subject, we chose "Preparing a waste-free lunch-box " activity. Detailed explanations and food examples were also given to the students. Some specific and crital points were underlined to prepare a waste-free lunch box.

Students were assigned to prepare and picture their lunch boxes for the next day. Then the next day we made a presentation of what/how we prepared for lunch in the light of 3 Rs knowledge. Photos of students' lunch boxes were projected on the board. Students presented their lunch and each ingredient in their lunch bags was studied one by one in terms of 3Rs.
In the second week of our task we learned to sing a 3Rs-related song and drew some posters. Posters were pinned to our Project Bulletin Board.
