ARITHMETIC SEQUENCE An arithmetic sequence is a series of numbers in which the difference between neighbouring numbers is a constant number. GEOMETRIC SEQUENCE A geometric sequence is a series of numbers in which the quotient of each member and its previous member is a constant number.
SEQUENCES A sequence can be arithmetic or geometric. But it might not be either. Check carefully!
TERMINOLOGY The arithmetic and geometric sequence were named after a property valid for every three consecutive terms. The mean of these three terms is equal to the arithmetic or geometric mean of the neighbouring members.

You get another message from your History Professor. It says...Thank you for helping me tame the dragon mother.Unfortunately, when I started down the mountain a group of fire breathing dragons came out of nowhere and I have sought refuge under a stone ledge.
