It would take place in the XIX century in California in North-America after the discovery of several amounts of gold in the river's sand

This have created a "gold rush" , that have
attracted several populations in the surroundings

A young prospector with the ambition to become the greatest gold prospector of all time

Childhood friend of John,
She wants to help him by all the ways possible

Jack Manear

Childhood friend of John aswell as Elisa, he follow him in all his adventures

Daniel Wreack (and his crew)

Childhood ennemy of John, who want to sabotage the merchants Alliance and take all the benefits

Daniel's crew

A bunch of thieves with almost no real coordination
(manage to do a robbery i dont know how)

Finally, John could have been assassinated and the story will became a revenge quest with his two twins : Billy and Jimmy, who would find out (if there is another season) that their father's assassin was Roy, Daniel's secret child and so the adventures will continue

John would start a whole society wich would be called :
Gold Seekers (newest gold prospector alliance which would paid them well not like the Merchants Alliance)
