Chernobyl is a British-american historical drama television serie. This is a serie of 5 episodes created and written by Craig Mazin, and directed by Johan Renck. The serie tell the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.

The serie occurred in April 1986 in the territory of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) and the clean-up efforts carried out by the Soviet authorities following the explosion of the nuclear reactor. In the serie there are several plots around different mysteries and characters

Every consequences and big problems evoked in the serie are real like all the clen-up efforts and the radioactivity which have touched the population. But the fiction is that there are some plots different than the reality like story about love between people or caracters totally invented and fictitious .
