The USS Johnston was a Fletcher class destroyer. She was built during World War 2 and was 115m long.
When did she sink?
She was launched on 25th of March 1943 and sank 25 October 1944. She was found 2019 but properly discovered March 2021.
- she is lying 20,000 feet (6,100m) deep in the ocean, making it the deepest shipwreck ever surveyed!
