After winning the Cold War against the Soviet Union, the USA have established themselves as the first political, military, and economic force in the world.

Al-Qaeda led the deadliest terrorist attack in human history. The United States were directly hit in the heart of their economic and military power.

The military operation took place to capture Osama Bin Laden, destroy Al-Qaeda military bases that were protected by the regime, and put an end to the Taliban regime.

The expression designates a group of countries who plan to develop weapons of mass destruction and support terrorism. Bush names Iraq, Iran, and North Korea.
