Students Ana FranciscoAgrupamento de Escolas de Pombal | Portugal

I used less beans on one stick and more on the other. As the amount of substance increased, the vibration decreased,so I got a thicker sound on the instrument with more beads.

Fatma EŞehit Ömer Halisdemir Anatolian High School TURKEY

I put 7 beans, 27 beans and 50 beans in identical cups from right to left. Because of the different number of beans in the jars, I got different frequencies.I observed that as the number of beans increases, lower frequency sounds occur.

Eda H Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Anatolian High School TURKEY

Among the instruments I prepared, there are 10 lentils in the first and 50 lentils in the second. It is heard that the sound changes according to the amount of lentils.

İrem ŞŞehit Ömer Halisdemir Anatolian High School TURKEY

When we hit the drum near the center, the skin stretches downward more, the frequency of the sound becomes lower, the wavelength becomes larger. So, the sound becomes thicker.

Ebru BŞehit Ömer Halisdemir Anatolian High School TURKEY

We can use different water levels for different notes.Increasing water level means lower frequency.Students can notice the ratio of water and air affects the frequency.
