First games rules:

First games codes written in Cambridge. It has been written by a students group , including Henry Winton and John Charles Thring. The most important rule is the prohibition to run while having the ball in the hands.

Creation of the english football federation:

In 1863, the first english (and world) football federation is created and establish common rules for the football.

First broadcast of football on television:

The first match broadcasted on the TV was the training match of Arsenal.

The Youdan cup is the first english competition, it takes place in Sheffield
