In emotional testimony, Ms Heard said she laughed when Mr Depp, 58, explained that a tattoo on his arm said "Wino" - an alteration to a tattoo he had made during a previous relationship with actress Winona Ryder.

Mr Depp has denied the incident took place and said in his own testimony that the claim "never made any sense" to him.

In her testimony, Ms Heard sought to portray Mr Depp as someone who could be warm and kind, but who would fly into rages - sometimes at perceived infidelity - when under the influence of alcohol or drugs. She said he tried to conceal his substance abuse, which ranged from drinking spirits to taking "a lot" of cocaine.

"I felt the full force of our culture's wrath for women who speak out," she wrote. "I had the rare vantage point of seeing, in real time, how institutions protect men accused of abuse."

She does not mention Depp’s name directly.

Despite denying all the accusations, Depo lost the case.

The case has also somehow affected the career of Amber Heard but Johnny faced a huge setback in his career due to domestic violence allegations by his ex-wife.

How is this case affecting their careers?

Heard's article had already given Johnny Depp a bad reputation, but the recent trials caused the actor to be removed by Disney from the sixth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean. Johnny Depp previously stated that he was asked to resign from playing Grindewald in the famous Harry Potter spin-off film series Fantastic Beasts.

On more than one occasion Ms Heard initiated violent interactions in an effort to prevent Mr Depp from leaving, Ms Anderson said.

"It was a point of pride to her, if she felt disrespected, to initiate a fight," Ms Anderson told jurors. "If he was going to leave her to de-escalate from the fight, she would strike him to keep him there, she would rather be in a fight than have him leave."

Ms Anderson said that Mr Depp was often interrupted by Ms Heard during the therapy sessions.
