- plays a huge role in destruction of environment, especially climate change)
- there are so many losers due to globalisation

- it is understandable to want to protect your own country from foreign competition

- consumerism, not globalisation, is to blame for the destruction of environment
- there are organisations which try to protect the rights of workers in developing countries
