Starbucks : a well-know coffee company and world chain. It was founded in Seattle in 1971 and operates in different countries around the world.

Easy access to new countries ( can access new countries easily, it just needs to apply its existing model business in these new geographies.Emerging markets can be a grat source of growth for Starbucks)

Strong brand recognition (almost everyone knows this brand, one big advantage regarding other companies in the industry. It's the most recongnized coffee brand in the world)

Not easily affordable in all countries (It has a premium price policy wich is not in line with some clients expectations, in some countries there might not be enough middle and high-clas individuals who can afford to pay extra for their coffee)

High employee turnover (it's difficult to serve coffee as a premium product when your baristas have been on the job for a couple of weeks only

Present all over the world (it owns thousands of outlets in the world, customers can find it even when travelling overseas, that's a strong advantage as it ensures loyal clients can remain so)

Agreements with the entertainment industry and movie producers

The saturation of the US market (most of its outlets are located in the States, no chance of expansion there)

Superb supply chain management (the coffee quality is excellent, the suppliers are chosen carefully wich improves the quality of its products)

Product is not customized to local tastes (it's the same products everywhere which can be an issue for some clients and they prefer competitor products taylored to their specific geographical preferences.
