batit au millieu IIiem siècle
servait de porte a la ville de trève
la porta nigra plus grand edifice romain encore debout en allemagne
en 1028 un moine grec s'installe
en 1035inhumé et canonisé
transformé en sanctuaire en l'hommage du moine
debut 19iem siècle napoleon decide detruit tous les rajouts, l'eglise,sanctuaire etc
