the place of women

The women are dancing and they are on the scene entertaining the men in the speakeasy. They seem cheerful.

They entered in a hairdresser. Mister Mile Wood Sha hair's are cutting by the barber.

Nick and Gatsby are friends. Gatsby introduce Mister Mile Wood Sha to Nick like his good friend. They seem know each other for a long time and apreciate their relation. Mister Mile Wood Sha called Gatsby : " my boy".

The relationship between the 3 main characters

The atmosphere is raucous because people in the speakeasy speak loud. They seem cheerful. The speakeasy is rowded because there is a lot of people.

THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE SPEAKEASY

The people who attend the speakeasy

The people seem wealthy because their wear suits and they order alcohol and food really expensive ( for exemple Gatsby order lobster ). We can observe that the men in the speakeasy are maybe influencial in the society. Everyone is holding a glass of alcohol.

the effect of Prohibition

The selling, the drinking and the transportationof alcohol were prohibited to reduce violences and crimes but it dit not work because it led to the creation of mafia and bootleggers. We can see in the video that effectively people are more violent and drunk like the men who are fighting and get out of the speakeasy. Everyone is drinking alcohol so the Prohibition increase the illegally consommation of alcohol and violence
