The relationship between the 3 main characters
Nick and Gatsby are friends and Gatsby bring Nick in a speakeasy for the first time. And in this place Nick is acquainted with gatsby's friend.
The atmosphere of speakeasy
In the speakeasy, The hapinness reigns supreme there is some tensions between the different characters because of the prohibition.
The place of women
In the speakeasy, the women dance on the table to distract men. They aren't allow to go in a speakeasy to drink alcohol and spend a good time.
The first shop they entered
To access the speakeasy the 3 main characters entered in a barbor and go into the speakeasy passing by a hidden door who is hid behind a price list. The barbor therefore serves as a showcase for the spekeasy.
the people whe attend the speakeasy
the people who frequent the speakeasy are wealthy people who are lucky enough to be able to afford bootleg liquor. They have fun playing with each other and meeting each other.
The effects of prohibition
Admittedly, prohibition led to a decrease in consumption due to the scarcity of alcohol, but it did not eliminate the taste for drinking, so there was always a demand. This demand for a now illegal product was not without consequences on public health with poor quality alcohols. as well as the development of smuggling and illegal sales.
