Charles Lutwidge Dodgson was born on 27 January 1832.

He died on 14 January 1898.

Became a student at Oxford University in 1851 and got his degree in 1854.

Taught mathematics at Christ Church.

He wrote Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland in 1865. It was at first a story he invented for Alice Liddell, Christ Church´s headmaster´s daughter.

He then wrote Alice through the looking glass in 1872.
