There are letters to be written — poems even. [...]

In this picture, we can see a painting on a wall. The painting shows one man in black and white.

He's wearing a cap and he's masked, with a scarf on his face. He doesn't look happy but angry.

We can think that he's throwing something, maybe during a protest.

The full picture shows that the man is holding a beautiful bouquet. It is very surprising because he has the facial expression and body posture of someone who is about to throw (=jeter) a rock, a molotov cocktail or something violent but it's a bouquet. This is a call for peace. The message here could be: "fight peacefully, fight with love" !

This painting was made by the iconic street artist Banksy. His real identity is still unknown.
This piece of art is called "The Flower Thrower”, “Flower Bomber” or "Love is in the air".

This stencil and spray paint mural shows two mischievous children reaching for a can of spray paint, that is on a sign stating that graffiti is a crime.

The Mayor of New York called Banksy a "vandal".
Do you see an act of vandalism here?

Why, or why not?
