The hunter hid, followed and eventually killed the Otter King with his knife and took his furcoat. He tried to escape on the rocks in the water. It was dark and he couldn't see very well. He jumped onto one, two, three, four, five, six, seven black rocks, then he realized it was the wrong direction. When turned around, the rocks disappeared into the waters. They were no rocks: they were actually the Otter King's seven friends ! The hunter fell into the water and died.

The Wulver lived alone and spent his days fishing. One winter, ther was a terrible storm and a tree fell on a local farmer in his field. It broke his leg, and the farmer shouted for help. The Wulver heard him, moved the tree and carried him home. The farmer's family was terrified because if the farmer couldn't work, they would have nothing to eat. However, for unknown reasons, the family would find a basket of fresh and delicious dish delivered to their door every morning. The helpful Wulver was feeding them ! One autumn day, two Scottish hikers arrived at an abandoned castle and decided to go in. But as they entered the castle, one, two, three enormous rocks flew through the air in their direction. Someone was throwing rocks at them ! 'It's a Redcap!' shouted one of them. 'We must escape or die!' Scared, they ran as fast as they could to the exit and continued running for a long time. Legend says the Redcap must kill regularly and put his cap in the victim's blood to keep it red. If the blood dries out, the redcap will die.

One evening, Callum saw a small woman dressed in green. She was kneeling by the river, singing softly and washing clothes. The water was red with blood. He realized that she was the Bean Nighe ! He could see that in her hands, she was holding the jackets of his two sons who were soldiers. Terrified, he ran as fast as he could to his cottage. When he arrived, he opened the door and discovered his wife crying over a letter. The letter said that his two sons had died at war, killed in battle.
