This poster was made to raise awareness, and to spread the information about modern slavery, as we can see modern slavery can sometimes be hard to see, the following steps are one of the most indistinguable steps

Some people believe that slavery vanished many years ago, and that there are no "slaves" nowadays. However, slavey is still alive in many countries. It is now known as "modern slavery and comes in many types.

What is modern slavey ?

A link between them ?

Indeed, there could be a link between those types of modern slavery. Many of these activities start by Human Trafficking, and will eventually transform into other types of slavery such as domestic servitude, forced organ harvesting or sexual exploitations.

When people are threatened or forced into situations that lead to exploitations. They can get sold, traded or rent in their countries or can even be shipped across the borders

The removal of someone's organ in order to sell them in the black market. Some are forced into it and others choose to do it. In addition it is very dangerous; some people are even murdered fo their organs.

Forcing people to participate in criminal activities such as prostitution, theft, organ harvesting and drug cultivation.

Victims are often forced into performing housework and have their liberties removed. This covers live-in help like maids, housekeepers, nannies and carers. Sadly, domestic servitude often comes hand in hand with imprisonment as well as physical, verbal and sexual abuse. Typical victims are young, foreign women.

Today, it is estimated that there are more than 4O million people that are trapped in this modern slavery.

25% of these "slaves" are children, which means that there are 10 million children that suffer from slavery.
