Munich agreement (1938)
The Munich Agreements are signed between Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Italy and represented respectively by Adolf Hitler, Édouard Daladier, Neville Chamberlain and Benito Mussolini at the end of the Munich Conference of 29-30 September 1938. The agreements were designed to resolve the Sudeten crisis, but also ended the death of Czechoslovakia as an independent state.
Germany is an authoritarian and antisemit regim
The nazi regime is an autoritarian regim because the government deleted the other political parties and an antisemit regim because the nazi regim is against the Jewish and persons with disabilities. The Nuremberg laws limit the right of life of the Jews with anti-Semitic laws as for example: the Jews do not have the right to exercise a trade.
War of the world in the United States (1938)
On October 31 1938, there was the war of the worlds in the United States. The war of the worlds was actually a joke on the radio but many Americans believed it and there were many car accidents and a lot of panic in the city.
The joke was made by the American radio and people believed that there will be an invasion of allien.
Elections in Germany and the in the United States in 1933
In 1933, there were elections in Germany and in the United States. In Germany, Adolf Hitler was elected chancellor of Germany because he had convinced the Germans to increase the economy of the country and to lower the unemployment. In America Theodore Roosevelt was elected president of the United States in 1933 too. He was the youngest person to become president of the U.S.A.
The night of the cristal
On the orders of Hitler, the SA (Sturmableitung), the SS (Schutzstaffel), the SD (Sicherheitsdienst) and the Gestapo burned down synagogues, destroying Jewish apartments and shops. While SS commandos assassinate Jewish dignitaries, the Gestapo organizes the arrest of thousands of Jews. The violence extends to all of Germany, but also to Austria. In some cities, the SA and SS are helped by the population to hit the Jews and humiliate them.
Annexation of Austria
In 1938, the Germany invade the Austria. On March 12, 1938, German troops entered Austria in order to achieve the annexation of Austrian territory into a Greater Germany. The Austrian chancellor was forced to surrender. Hitler was received triumphantly in Vienna. Austria had become a year-old territory by Germany.
