Illinois is a state situted in the centre of the country,but a little bit in the northeast.Is near to Indiana,Iowa,Misuri,at the top of Kentucky and under Wisconsin. Illinois has more or less three important cities that are Springfield,Chicago and San Luis that the last is middle part in Illinois,and middle part in Misuri.

CHICAGO

Chicago is the biggest city in Illinois and in my opinion the city that everybody know it.Chicago has an area of 607.4 km square and it has a population about 2697 millions.The cityu is located near to the Michigan´s lake and is in the northeast of the city and is one of the biggest city in USA. It is famous for Chicago-style food,the architecture,jazz music,and 1920s gangsters and finally is famous because of the Chicago Bulls team of basketball that it is one of the best teams in the history of the basketball.

Springfield is the capital of Illinois and administrative centre of sangamon´s state.The city was founded in 1819,it was the capital of illinos since 1837.It has a population of 113.394 and a sourface of 174,8 km square.

History

California was inhabited by the Indians before the arrival of the Spanish colonizers in the 16th century. After colonization, the state of California was part of the state of Mexico, but it was not until the war of independence that it was annexed in 1848.

California is located in the south-western part of the US bordering with Nevada to the east and northeast, Oregon to the north, Arizona to the southeast, Pacific Ocean in the west and it shares a International border with the Mexican state

It is not a traditional or popular gastronomy, since there is no differentiated gastronomy in California as such, but rather, a style of cuisine created by several Californian chefs between the 1970s and 2000s
