The implant is placed next to the little finger like this:
The implantation takes about 15 minutes, it is possible to do it yourself, but it is advisable to go to qualified personnel.
To have the chip placed you have to go to the centre in Walletmor in the south of the Netherlands.
It will take 2 to 4 weeks to heal.
Once implanted, the chip works immediately and has a lifespan of about eight and a half years.
The chip has been on sale in France since January 1, 2002.
More than four hundred people already have it!

This chip was created by the British startup "Walletmor" in November 2021.
It is implanted under the skin and allows contactless payment.
The chip measures half a millimetre, about the size of a paper clip, and weighs one gram.
It is already available in France at a price starting at two hundred euros (200), and allows its owner to present his or her hand over a payment terminal as with a classic bank card.

A large part of the population does not agree with the idea of having a chip implanted, the shared idea is that we could be followed, or even that people could get our personal information.
However, the company assures that it has not: Wallertmor does not implement any other technology than NFC: "it is not possible to spy, track, monitor or obtain any information on the implant", the company says.
Opinions remain divided, however.

According to a diagram provided by the company, the implant consists of a microscopic chip and a miniature antenna, all in a kind of bio-compatible plastic capsule
