Indice

The network of Earth observation satellites is a key piece to address climate change and to implement the strategies agreed at the Paris Climate Summit. The satellite is a unique tool for observing the planet. In remote areas such as the Arctic, they can provide data not only on ice extent, but also on thickness, which is an element of assessment and forecasting of the evolution of the ice system in the Arctic and Antarctic zone.

0.1 Observation of the Earth's surface through satellites.

Pollution is a problem that has been worked on for the last decade. This can occur at the atmospheric level of thermal water light among others directly affects the human being, as well as the ecosystems and animals that inhabit them. There are currently more than 150 Earth observation satellites in orbit carrying sensors that measure different sections of the visible, infrared and microwave regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. Many of these satellites carry passive sensors that measure both the reflected solar radiation and the thermal energy emitted from the Earth's surface or atmosphere.

0.2 Contamination.

Satellites have been of great help in carrying out a project called Google Earth. This project allows you to see the whole plant, from the most populated areas to the desert areas. For this project, a great variety of satellites have been needed, which have been taking photos of all parts of the planet.

0.3 Growth of cities.

Satellite dishes are widely used in satellite communications- Internet access via satellite is achieved with satellite data reception cards. The connection system that is usually used is a hybrid of satellite and telephone. A satellite acts as a space-based delivery man: it receives the signals sent from the ground station and relays them to another satellite or back to the terrestrial receivers. There are actually two types of satellites communications: passive satellites.

0.4 Means of communication.

Currently the planes are using for air control many airlines use it to see the route that the planes are doing and to calculate the time it will take to reach their destination, it is very useful since this way they know when to have the runway clear. In the cars information is included arrival to the satellites for example in modern cars the GPS is updated by means of a satellite and in the road control the radars of the satellites can off rimportant information

0.5 Traffic (sea, air and land).

In short, satellites are very important for many things in our lives. Thanks to them you can get a lot of valuable information that would cost more to obtain without them
