The monument shows the Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz standing on a pedestal with allegoristic figures sitting at his feet. The monument was unveiled on June 26, 1898 in the presence of the poet's daughter and son, it was the hundredth anniversary of Mickiewicz's birth

Sukiennice is the central building of Cracow's Main square. The name of the Sukiennice comes from the word cloth, one of the basic goods that was bought here. Sukiennice were built in the 14th century.

It is the Tower of St. Mary's Church which is 81 m high It is the only tower in the world, from which for over 600 years you can hear the bugle call played every hour by a trumpeter to the four corners of the world.
