Ecotopia

- You are to travel to a city called Ecotopia. What kind of city would you expect to discover?

- Can you explain the word Ecotopia?

Fictional cities are utopian, dystopian or parodic mirrors of existing cities. They represent real-life issues.

ECotopia

An Ecotopia megacity has been built near where you live. Following the example of the narrator of the text we have just studied, you decide to embark on a discovery journey. It would be the perfect subject for a book, wouldn’t it? Write the first page of your book, detailing your arrival in the Ecotopia, and what you discover about this city. What makes this metropolis an ideal city?

In order to accomplish your task, your text should be a first-person narrative and written in the present tense.
You could mention one or two technological advances that facilitate life in the city.
Don’t forget to contrast the Ecotopia with other cities: what makes this one different and ideal?
