1BEAUTIFUL ENGLAND

• People visit England every year. They from countries all over the world .London is a wonderful place, there are many more exciting and interesting places across the country:There are green hills , long beaches and more English gardens .There are exciting big cities with great food, shops and music. You can do many things in England for example : Watch a game of football , ride a horse or take a boat

• London has more than eleven million every year. They come to visit some buildings : The tower of London , St Paul´s Cathedral. Visitors like to take photos
• There are more tham 160 shops in this big shopping mall. There are a lot of good places for food in the city but are not expensive
• Albert Dock has shops restaurants , bars , museums and art galleries. There are lots of tours of the city by bus and on foot .
• You can take a boat across the Mersey for good views of the city

2 Who are the English?

• The name "ENGLAND" from Angle- land , people came from Europe in the fifth and sixth centuries , they called it Angle - land , the Romans lived here for four hundred years and they made a town next to the river Thames .
• In 1066 england had a new kind he was William of Normandy the famous William the conqueror
• Fifty million people live in England , and thousands more come and live here every year they from many other countries.

• You are never far from the sea in England. The lake Distric National Park is in Cumbria in the north- west of England .Here the hills are the highest in England , and between them sit sixteen great lake.
• Yorkshire has two wonderful national parks. In the north-west is the yorkshire Dales National Park.
• Three famous lived at "Haworth in (Yorkshire) the writers Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë.

• Newcastle is on the north-east coast of England .Take a tour bus or a tour on foot and see the best of the city.
• The Theatre Royal in Grey Street is one of England`s most beautiful theatres . In the Angle of the Noth arrived on a hill 7 kilometres from Newcastle. Some people like it. It is 20 metres high and 54 metres across , and you can take a bus to it from the city centre.
• Oxford and Cambridge are England's two most famous university cities. They are cities with rivers. Oxford is near the centre of England.
• Many people like to visit the parks and college gardens next to the river.
• Thereb are many restaurants and cafes

4More cities of England

1. There are lots of big , beautiful old country houses- also called'stately homes' - in England. One of the best is Castle Howard in Yorkside.
2. Stonehenge, on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire , was built between 3000 and 1500 BC . Two more places with beautiful plants , trees and flowers are the Royal Botanic Gardens.
3. You can visit the houses of some pf the most famous English men and women for example Jane Austen's house is Chawton , near Winchester in Hampshire.

London's west end is famous for its theatres.There are more than fifty of them . But tickets can be expensive .Most of England's big cities, and many large towns, have theatres.England's most famous writer is William Shakespeare. H e was born in Straford- upon - Avon and you can see his plays there at the Royal Shakespeare next to the river avon .

English breakfast is egg, bacon , tomatoes an a lot of tee.The english like afternoon tea your cup od tea you get sandwiches and cake

9 English food

There are football clubs all over england . The biggest clubs are in the cities ; London , Manchester etc . The bign clubs are LIverpool , Arsenal , Tottenham ... , the games are in the evenings .Rugby is a fast and exiting game.The cricket in England , many people love to watch it in villages you can see in April to September.

In april or March you can watch the Oxford and cambridge University Boat Race Between Putney and Mortlake in london
