Match Coordinator Meeting

• Schedule a consultation via video with the Match Coordinator to discuss your Surrogate preferences.

• She will review available Surrogates with you and assist you in selecting a GC compatible with you.

Search for & Select Your Surrogate

• Review Surrogate Profiles and notify Surrogate Solutions that you would like to proceed with a GC choice.

• With the facilitation of the Match Coordinator, meet your GC and her spouse (if applicable) via video or in person.

Officially Begin Your Journey

• Sign the Agency Agreement and additional paperwork, pay your first Agency Installment Fee, and set up your 3rd party Escrow Account.

• Meet your Surrogacy Coordinator at Surrogate Solutions who will guide & support you through the rest of the journey.

Surrogate's Medical & Psychological Screening

• Surrogate will have hysteroscopy, FDA labs, and possibly other testing (at the discretion of your IVF clinic).

• Surrogate will undergo psychological screening, including an MMPI or PAI.

• Group session (GC, GC’s partner, IP’s) with a therapist.

Draft & Finalize Contract with Your Surrogate & Fund Escrow

• Your attorney will draft the Gestational Agreement and your Surrogate will review it with separate legal counsel.

• Once contracts are signed - the Second Agency Installment Fee is due, and the Escrow Account will be funded with Surrogate’s full compensation.

• Finalize insurance (if not already in place).

Surrogate Medication Cycle & Embryo Transfer

• Your Surrogate will have 5 - 8 appointments with your physician or a monitoring clinic.

• Embryo transfer will take place.

Positive Pregnancy

• Approximately two weeks after embryo transfer, you will know if you are expecting.

• After Heartbeat Confirmation - Final Agency Installment Fee & first compensation payment to your Surrogate is due.

• Your Surrogate will transfer her care to her OB from your IVF clinic.

• The Surrogacy Coordinator will help your Surrogate schedule appointments throughout the pregnancy and assist her with compensation and reimbursements through escrow.

Legal Parentage Paperwork

• The Surrogacy Coordinator (with the help of your attorney) will guide you through the steps to complete all parentage paperwork needed for delivery.

• The Surrogacy Coordinator will assist in scheduling a hospital tour for you and your GC, send legal paperwork to the hospital, connect with Labor and Delivery, and continue to help facilitate birth plan discussions prior to delivery.

• Your baby is here and you have created your happy family!

• Your Surrogacy Coordinator will continue to be available to you and your GC post - delivery for help with hospital bills, escrow account, transitioning to parenthood, etc.
