Introduction

To talk about anarchism we first have to know what anarchism is, and what its ideology is like. Anarchism is a social and political ideology that defends the abolition of the state, according to this ideology any organism without any justification will create new injustices, that is why anarchists believe in a model of a communal system in which each one provides a service to the community and in exchange for that work will obtain others from the rest of the members of the group using the work-value theory where the value of each good or service will be given by the effort that this entails.

There is no exact origin of anarchism or an anarchist society, some say that prehistoric societies had communist principles, it is also said that the first to think of the anarchist idea were the habitants of the Middle East, others think that it originated in Greek thinkers.

Precedents of the anarchism

Pierre-Joseph Proudhon

As we have spoken before, there is talk of many origins of anarchism but when we can really speak that an anarchist ideal began to be thought was during the French Revolution, since it was the first time that the state was overthrown and communalism was talked about. This would lead the Russian Pierre-Joseph Proudhon to consider himself an anarchist, being the first to do so and raising the foundations of anarchism, saying that the figure of the state had to be destroyed and that the economic system had to be sustained by the exchange of the goods of individuals between them.

Origins

Piotr Kropotkin

Mijaíl Bakunin

Piotr Kropotkin as an anarchist thinker who thought of an idea of communalism, he wrote many books, articles and magazines on anarchism and its ethics; he is also the founder of anarcho-comunism

Mijail Bakunin gave a return to anarchism as I propose Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, also entered the 1st International where he had confrontations with the communists until his departure.

Fathers of anarchism

Anarchim in the World

Another great anarchist episode took place in Russia in 1905 in a revolt (with more than 15,000 dead) that would plant the seed of the Russian revolution. Then in 1918 in Austria during the Russian civil war a group of anarchists supported the Bolsheviks, but at the end they will want to, they massacred the anarchists, but this was not a reason for groups of peasants to associate in communes until the repression of Lenin and his red army.

Anarchism in Europe had a great importance, especially in Spain and Russia, there were also anarchist episodes in France and Austria. The greatest examples of this was the Paris commune of 1871, a revolt that imposed progressive reforms, a highly retaliated revolt with more than 20,000 dead after its end 60 days later. The next great event was on May 1, 1886, where in some demonstrations for the 8-hour working day the famous Chicago martilles died, since then on 1M the international worker's day has been celebrated, to the relationship between unionism and anarchism. it is called anarcho-syndicalism, a current of anarchism.

Anarchim in spain

The most famous being the Events of Casas Viejas But this was nothing compared with what happened in Asturias in 1934 where during the revolts groups of anarchists took power, a revolt that would lead to the death of 2000 people and the imprisonment of hundreds or thousands . During the civil war there was also a great anarchist experience, since in areas like Cataluña where anarchist ideas preside, companies were expropriated and money was replaced by vouchers, in Andalusia there was also a great anarchist experience with the expropriation of land from the owners and their collectivization of these, these two being the most important anarchist experiences along with those lived in Austria. Finally, after the end of the war, the C NT was outlawed and this time it did not reappear, this being its end.

The anarchism in Spain gained great importance after groups of anarchists demonstrated due to the injustices when going to war in Africa since it was possible to pay not to go, which is why the only groups to go to war were people of the working class; leading to the tragic week of 1909; The association they formed was called CNT, (National Labor Confederation) In 1919 the CNT called a strike and Cataluña was detained for 40 days and made Spain the first country to legislate the 8-hour working day. Primo de Ribera outlawed the CNT, but this did not prevent them from continuing to work in the class. After its legalization during the second republic, they carried out some anarchist insurrections, all put down by the government.

His slogan was:Of each according to their capabilities, to each according to your needs

Anarchsim and communism

Despite being two left-wing currents, they had their clashes, especially in the times when they were in the first International, since the communists defended the dictatorship of the proletariat, and the anarchists the abolition of the state. From the union of both currents arose anarcho-communism that defended the abolition of the state, capitalism and private property, however, democracy defended personal property and the common property of the means of production.
