GEOGRAPHY

Tokyo is divided in two principle areas: the continental area and the insular area. It limits with the prophecy of the Chiba, on the east, Yamannashi, on the west, Kanagawa, on the south and Saitama on the north. It includes lakes, rivers, waterfalls, farms and national parks.

HISTORY

TOKYO"S BOMBING Its code name was Operation Meetinghouse. IT was bombed by the United States (USA) Air Force during the pacifific campaingn of World War II suffering the most destructive nuclear bombing in history.

DANCES The most famous dance of Tokyo is Yosakoi.The Yosakoi dance is very entertaining, This dance consist in moving, holding a Naruko, that are pieces of wood, placed in the hands of the dancers. The kimono is the traditional outfit of Japan, its usually used in important ceremonies. Is made of materials like silk, cotton or wool.

The traditional ingridients are red meat, soy sauce, miso... Tends to result is meals of high salt content.

The traditional Japanese cuisine, is based on rice with miso soup and other dishes. Seafood is common, often grilled, but is also serves raw as sahimi or sushi.
