We are in the world but not of the world, We are here but we belong to you
We have seen and heard; We have known and felt
What it's like to live away from you.
* Now we choose to make the best of our freedom, And so to you we come
You've shown that in dying, one starts living, You've shown us the way how to live
* * We'll follow you! We'll share your life and your choices
We'll stake our life for love of you, And all of our sisters and brothers,
Your way of life becomes our way, As we carry our cross each day
We'll follow you! We'll go wherever you'll go
We can't invent a different way, For you are the only way;
The choice is only ours to make, So we've decided to follow you
Life in it's fullness is lived in self-giving, Just like the way how you lived
But the lies around us tell us to live, Only for ourselves and no one else (repeat * and **)
You're the one who loved us first, You chose to suffer in our place
Now unafraid because of you, We're here to follow you
We'll Follow YOU!

Supporting our Church leaders reinforces our Church's foundation and our link to Christ.
Christ layed out a structure of authorities beginning from St. Peter, succeeded by the Popes, not to rule over the CHURCH, but to be servants of God's people.
Through St. Peter the foundation of the Catholic Church, We are connected to Christ
Christ is himself the source of ministry in the Church. He instituted the Church. He gave her authority and mission, orientation and goal

THE TWO LUMBERJACKS
SHORT STORY
What does the story of the two lumberjacks say about action?
Vision without action is just a dream.
The Smallest Action is Worth More than the Biggest Intention
As part of the Catholic Church, members are expected to act, to fulfill its mission.
The Church flourished through the works of the
APOSTLES
Disciples
Apostles
People who wanted to learn from Jesus and support his ministry.
A disciple is a follower or learner
Apostles are people on a mission to accomplish something
Greek term meaning “one who is sent off”
Since Jesus founded the Church, the apostles starting from St. Peter up to the Bishops today, have been working non-stop to fulfill the mission of the Church to make disciples of all nations and proclaim the news of salvation through the Gospel.
The reading is a letter of Paul to the Colossians showing how a servant of Christ works through the Apostles.
Colossians 1:3-14
3 We give thanks for you to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, continually in our prayers,4 ever since we heard about your faith in Christ Jesus and the love that you show towards all God's holy people 5 because of the hope which is stored up for you in heaven. News of this hope reached you not long ago through the word of truth, the gospel 6 that came to you in the same way as it is bearing fruit and growing throughout the world. It has had the same effect among you, ever since you heard about the grace of God and recognised it for what it truly is. 7 This you learnt from Epaphras, our very dear fellow-worker and a trustworthy deputy for us as Christ's servant, 8 and it was he who also told us all about your love in the Spirit. 9 That is why, ever since the day he told us, we have never failed to remember you in our prayers and ask that through perfect wisdom and spiritual understanding you should reach the fullest knowledge of his will 10 and so be able to lead a life worthy of the Lord, a life acceptable to him in all its aspects, bearing fruit in every kind of good work and growing in knowledge of God, 11 fortified, in accordance with his glorious strength, with all power always to persevere and endure, 12 giving thanks with joy to the Father who has made you able to share the lot of God's holy people and with them to inherit the light. 13 Because that is what he has done. It is he who has rescued us from the ruling force of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son that he loves, 14 and in him we enjoy our freedom, the forgiveness of sin.

How does the Church preserves the Gospel ?
TRADITION
This living transmission, accomplished in the Holy Spirit, is called
the apostles left bishops as their successors. They gave them their own position of teaching authority." Indeed, "the apostolic preaching, which is expressed in a special way in the inspired books, was to be preserved in a continuous line of succession until the end of time."
The reading shows how apostles asks the Church to keep its Tradition.
2 Thessalonians 2: 13-15
13 But we must always thank God for you, brothers whom the Lord loves, because God chose you from the beginning to be saved by the Spirit who makes us holy and by faith in the truth. 14 Through our gospel he called you to this so that you should claim as your own the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Stand firm, then, brothers, and keep the traditions that we taught you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

Sacred Tradition
"The power of the heavenly Church spurring us on"
Sacred Tradition
It is through Tradition that the Holy Spirit makes the Risen Lord present among us, offering us the very same saving Word and Sacraments that he gave to the Apostles!
W.W.J.D.
What would Jesus do?
The infallibility promised to the Church
Guarantee the objective possibility of professing the true faith without error
The People of God abides in the truth that liberates
Preserve God's people from deviations and defections
The Magisterium
Do you know of any changes in the Catholic Church?
The Christian faith is not a "religion of the book." Christianity is the religion of the "Word" of God, a word which is "not a written and mute word, but the Word which is incarnate and living" (Catechism of The Catholic Church, No. 108)
With the Traditions and the Magesterium, Jesus lives among us!
The challenge to let go and follow
Hebrews 12:1-2
1 With so many witnesses in a great cloud all around us, we too, then, should throw off everything that weighs us down and the sin that clings so closely, and with perseverance keep running in the race which lies ahead of us. 2 Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, who leads us in our faith and brings it to perfection: for the sake of the joy which lay ahead of him, he endured the cross, disregarding the shame of it, and has taken his seat at the right of God's throne.
We follow Jesus Christ!
We follow the Apostles
We follow Church's Magesterium
When follow Church'sTradition
