PLOT

CHARLOTTE BRONTË

AUTHOR

She was an English novelist, sister of fellow writers Anne and Emily Brontë. Charlotte Brontë was born in the town of Thornton, Yorkshire, UK. They were sent to the College of Clergy Daughters in which was inspired Lowood. She reached to teach and work as a governess. In 1846 the three sisters published a joint collection of Poems under the pseudonyms of Currer, Ellis, and Acton Bell. The first to be published was Jane Eyre (1847) by Charlotte, Agnes Gray, by Anne, and Wuthering Heights, by Emily. Her sister Emily died of tuberculosis in 1848 and Anne died of the same disease in 1849. In 1853 he published his third novel, Villette, and in 1854 he married Arthur Bell Nicholls. Finally, on March 31, 1855, while pregnant, she fell ill and died of tuberculosis like her sisters

Jane's story seems very interesting to me, in addition she had a character well ahead of that time so I like it even more. It is a sad story at first, but it is very beautiful and exciting. Even if it is a book that is in English, I would read it again.
