A famous Rice University Alumni is George P. Bush. He is the nephew of George W. Bush (43rd President) and an American politician.
Rice University has about 20,323 undergrad students and 3,132 graduate students. The total amount attending is 23,455 students.
Campus Life Fact: At Rice University, there is a collection of public artworks that are accessible to all and has meaningful experiences to the visitors. There are a variety of different artworks that are shown in the exhibition.
Historical Fact: Rice University opened on September 23, 1912 which was also the anniversary of Mr. Rice’s murder. The reason why this university had opened was because the trustees of the Rice Institute had decided to decide about the recommendation of Woodrow Wilson (the president of Princeton) and an astronomer with other people about opening a university with very high education.
