Make a musical instrument out of anything you have around. You can find lots of ideas online, and it doesn’t have to be hard. It might be a drum made from a coffee can or a kazoo with a comb & piece of wax paper. Submit a video of you playing your instrument (feel free to sing along) and tell what you used to make it.

Everyone has something that they're good at - a talent, a hobby, something that they know how to do really well. It could be anything: hula-hooping, knitting, tumbling, basketball, singing, writing poems, drawing, making awesome animal sounds....ANYTHING! What do you do especially well? In this video, we want you to not only TELL us your talent, but SHOW it to us, too. But...you only have 30 seconds!

Family project! Work together with a family member (or your whole family) to make a cool craft out of things that you would have put in the recycling bin! You might make a bird house out of a milk carton, a snow globe out of a jar, a pencil holder out of a plastic container...there are gazillions of creative ideas - and we can't wait to see and hear about yours. In your #Fliphunt video, don't just show it, but tell us a little about the supplies you used and who helped to make it!

Get someone to wrap you up like a mummy with a whole roll of toilet paper! (Or you can wrap up one of your family members instead if they'll let you!)

Use your hands to make a talking shadow puppet. Even better – get a family members to make their own shadow puppets that talk to YOUR shadow puppet!

Make a telescope out of cups , rolled paper, or a paper towel tube. Get someone else to film you while you make repeated discoveries by shouting “Look!” and pointing in the direction that you are looking through your telescope.

For this challenge, you need to capture THREE successful water bottle flips so that a full water bottle lands on its bottom when you flip it. Flipgrid has a pause button that you can use between flips!

Make a human pyramid (you need 3 or more people) and everyone has to sing the ABCs.

Video the letters of your first name (you’ll need to pause & resume video several times) by finding each of those letters in different places (signs, menus, posters, etc.)  For example, if your name is Tomas, find a T somewhere and record it for 2 seconds, then hit pause. Then find an O and record it for 2 seconds and hit pause.... Keep doing that until you spell out all the letters of your name!

Make a creative obstacle course and go through it. These are going to be some really fun videos!

Say your first name in as many funny voices as you can in 30 seconds!

You have 30 seconds to say as many things as you can that you love about our school! (You can write them on a list first and just read from it if you want.)

Make a fake microphone and interview one of your family members as if you’re a reporter on the TV news! Ask them 2-3 questions.

Show the cover of whatever you are reading or a favorite book and just read the title and author’s name - but in a silly voice!

Make a costume so that you look like any historical figure, and say a quote that they are famous for saying.

You have 30 seconds to tell what you think Mr. Breen does all day as a principal. What are some of the things he needs to for his job here at our school?

Create a self-portrait mask on paper or get creative with various art supplies. 🎨 Hold it it up to your face and introduce yourself - with a rhyming poem!

When you make a video in Flipgrid, you can decorate the screen with lots of stickers, backgrounds, filters, GIFs, and words/text. Have some fun creating a disguise for yourself or filling your screen with cool designs. Just so there's some sound too, use your voice to tell something interesting about yourself. *If you're on a phone or tablet, there's even an option to add some background music. Can you find it?

This is a nice easy challenge. Just look into the camera and say the Pledge of Allegiance. If your family members want to join you in the video, that's okay, too!

Almost every has favorite commercials or ones that they know by heart. This is your turn to be an actor! Either act out your favorite commercial or say the lines that you know so well!

While hanging upside down (from monkey bars, off the side of a couch/chair, etc.), name 3 or more places that you really love to go in our town!

Write your first name UPSIDE DOWN and take video of you doing it. If you want to try leveling up, do it with the hand you don’t usually use to write!

1) Just for fun, make a really yucky food combination (like spaghetti with pickle juice and peanut butter). Show it and and name all the ingredients. You don’t really have to eat it - unless you want to! 🤢 2) Creative Chef 👩‍🍳 : Choose one of these 3 lunch offerings: sandwich, soup, or salad. Now, make a recipe for it using exactly 10 ingredients. For your video, show us your ingredient list & draw a picture of what your recipe looks like!

Sing part of any Disney song using a kitchen utensil as a fake microphone. You can dress the part if you want to. (Optional: make or play instruments 🎻 to accompany your lovely singing!)
