CAROLINA CORONADO HIGH SCHOOL

The Carolina Coronado high school is located in Almendralejo, Badajoz.In this high school there are classes from the first year of secondary school to the second year of A-level. There are also vocational training courses in gardening and nursing.

Carolina Coronado is a very large high school, it has got two floors, a big playground and a large gym, a library and many classes for all courses. There is also a biology room, a physics and chemistry room and a technology workshop, a class of art, a music room and many more things.

Carolina Coronado was a Spanish writer of Romanticism who was born in Almendralejo on the 12th of December 1820 and died on the 15th of January 1911. She wrote poetry and novels.

Who was Carolina Coronado?

There are so many activities in Carolina Coronado High School, such as the book fair, talks on many different topics and schooltrips. There are also projects like "project life", etwinning or art and science projects.

The library of IES Carolina Coronado has 150 m2 full of light, adventure, culture, information, fantasy, study, relaxation... Everything you want to find. In addition to the more than eight thousand books at your disposal, there is a 2.0 space with Internet access, Educational Innovation Projects and everything you need to train, search for information, read, study...

In this high school there are many pupils from different levels, as there are so many pupils there are also many different teachers. Students have many different subjects to choose because there are teachers specialised in different subjects.
