In 1993 Paul Mockapetris y Jon Postel created the DNS (Domain Name System) as part of the names of websites. These domains would lay the foundations for the popularization of the Internet in the coming years
In 1972, the first form of e.mail was created by Ray Tomlinson. . He was the first to use the "at" symbol (@) for names of senders and recipients. However, unfortunately there is no record of what the first email said because Tomlinson doesn't remember.
The primitive version of what we know today as the internet was called ARPANET. It was funded by United States military. It involved a computer network as a rugged medium for sending military data and connecting major research groups across the United States.
It was October 29, 1969. A student programmer called Charley Kline sent two letters "I" and "o" to a computer over 350 miles away. The two letters stood for "login". After the computer received those letters, it crashed, but that was the birth of the internet.

In 1998, the search engine Google appeared on the scene and revolutionized the way we searched for information on the internet. Since then, the internet has envolved with each passing year.

In 1993, Mosaic became the first generalized Internet browser, it was developed at the NSCA (National Center for Supercomputing Applications) by Marc Andreessen and Eric Bina.

In 1991, the first webcam transmission happend. It was a very boring video, since it simply showed a coffe pot and the University of Cambridge.
