What did?
is an Irish astronomer who, along with Anthony Hewish, is credited with the discovery of pulsars: neutron stars that release radio waves at regular intervals.
Bell Burnell faced difficulties because of his interest in science from childhood. The first science courses for girls were created after Bell Burnell parents filed a complaint with the school. The young woman then studied at a Quaker institute where her physics teacher.
What difficulties did you have?
In 2018, he received the Special Advancement Award in Fundamental Physics; Following the announcement of the award, it decided to give the total prize of £ 2.3 million to help women, minorities and refugee students seeking to become Physics researchers; These funds will be administered by the Institute of Physics
